places like the fissure of woe
I bought a scroll and went there out of curiosity. I died in about 3 seconds because I was was massively outnumbered by mobs 8 levels higher? Now I can't get any more powerful - I'm already level 20 so how on earth are you meant to survive places like these, with massive clusters of very powerful mobs?
Some of the things they have in this game just don't make sense. You can't even bring in henchmen. |

FoW is a tough place due to the drops you can get in there (FoW Armour Crafting for one),you will note that outside in ToA lots of people advertising for certain builds/skill users, wait around and join one of those to gain experience, after a while you get used to the routes and what to kill or leave.

Simple. With a group or a farming build designed to work there.
I don't normally advise this, in fact I think I kinda just threw up in my mouth a little bit thinking about it, but find a pug that is going and tag along. If you luck out someone will actually know what they're doing.* *Note: ONLY do this if you don't have friends or guildies to take you. At least until you're confident enough to make groups yourself. |

Most FoW teams will consist of 1 tank, 2-3 eles, 2 monks, Ranger (Normally) and 1-2 others.
And no, before people start bitching, I'm not suggesting COOKIE CUTTER BUILD/TEAM OR GTFO!!! But you'll find teams quicker being one of those. (Not suggesting to go run out and make that profession either) As long as you're comfortable with your build (will probably need to ping it) and you can run it, act like you've been there before and then just watch how the team does it and figure it out on the fly. Although it looks tough, any competent team can do FoW pretty easy. |
